1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 lb. caramels
1/2 c. hot milk

In saucepan, steam the apples three minutes in 1/4 cup water. Turn out on cookie sheet to cool quickly.

Meanwhile, melt in top of double boiler the milk and caramels.
