Caprese Chicken Pasta

   Boil pasta according to instructions.

   Lightly toast pine nuts in saute pan over medium heat until golden brown (~5 minutes). Set aside in bowl.

   Slice grape/cherry tomatoes in half, and saute over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp olive oil.

   Slice sausages on the bias (diagonally) and saute to desired doneness.

   Chop basil into ribbons.

   Slice mozzarella.

   Drain pasta and place into large serving bowl or back in the pot.

   Add pre-made pesto sauce (or make your own if you're feeling ambitious and have a food processor!), tomatoes, sausage, and mozzarella. Toss pasta until ingredients are evenly distributed.

   Top with cracked black pepper, pine nuts, and fresh basil ribbons.
