Worcestershire sauce; 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk; 1/2 c. ketchup; 1 1/2 lb grnd beef; 1/2 lb andouille sausage, casings removed; 2 x Large eggs, beaten; 1 c. dry bread crumbs

1/2 tsp grnd white pepper
1/2 tsp grnd cumin
1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
4 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. minced onion
1/2 c. minced green bell pepper
1/4 c. minced green onions
4 x cloves garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp. warm pepper sauce
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk
1/2 c. ketchup
1 1/2 lb grnd beef
1/2 lb andouille sausage, casings removed
2 x Large eggs, beaten
1 c. dry bread crumbs

1 In a small bowl, combine the bay leaves, salt, cayenne pepper, grnd black pepper, grnd white pepper, cumin, and nutmeg; set aside.

2 Heat the butter or possibly margarine in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add in the onion, bell pepper, green onions, garlic, warm pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and reserved seasoning mix.

Saute/fry till mix starts sticking to the bottom of the pan, about 6 min.

Stir in the lowfat milk and ketchup; continue cooking for 2 more min, stirring occasionally.

3 Remove vegetable mix from heat, and allow to cold to room temperature.

Place the beef and sausage in an ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Add in the Large eggs, the vegetable mix, and the bread crumbs.

Remove the bay leaves.

Mix well by hand, and form into a loaf about 1 1/2 inches high.

4 Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 min.

Then raise heat to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and bake for another 35 min.

Let stand for 5 min before serving.
