Cabbage Rolls – a delicious recipe with rice, head cabbage, ground pork, pepper, water, milk. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1/2 c. cooked rice
1 large head cabbage
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1 c. milk
1 lb. hamburger
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening

Remove leaves from cabbage.

Dip in boiling water until wilted.

Dry leaves.

Combine the other ingredients except water and brown sugar.

Place spoonful of mixture on each leaf; roll up and tie with twine.

Brown cabbage rolls lightly in shortening. Place in casserole; sprinkle with brown sugar.
