Cabbage Casserole

   Core and chop the cabbage.

   Place in boiling water for a few minutes.

   Drain.

   Mix together meat, rice, egg, onion, carrot and salt.

   Mix together sugar, tomatoes and chives.

   In a casserole dish, layer cabbage-meat mixture and tomatoes.

   Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350u00b0 or can be cooked in a crock-pot on low 8 hours.
