Cabbage And Sausage Stuffed Puff Pastry

   Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

   Heat the olive oil in a skillet.

   Sear the onion, sliced in thin half moons.

   Add the cabbage, cut in very thin strips, and cook until soft.

   Meanwhile, cut the sausage open, and remove the filling.

   Use a fork to shred the sausage filling, and add to the skillet. Let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat, and let it cool down completely.

   After the filling is cold, extend the sheet of puff pastry and place the filling in the center, lengthwise.

   Close the puff pastry and cut it into strips, to give the appearance of a braid. Brush the top of the dough with the egg yolk.

   Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
