   3. For medium-rare steak, cook each side for 5 - 10 minutes on moderate grill heat until the internal temperature ranges between 145 F and 150 F. For a medium steak, cook the meat for 8 to 13 minutes on each side, until its temperature reaches 150 F to 155 F.
