Bohemian Chocolate Cookies Recipe

   Whirl walnuts in food processor using short, on-off bursts, till almost powdery (or possibly use a nut mill to grind finely); set aside.

   Whirl chocolate in food processor or possibly blender till powdery; set aside.

   Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

   In mixer bowl combine butter and sugar, and beat till fluffy and well-blended.

   Add in vanilla and chocolate and mix thoroughly.

   Gradually fold in flour, then walnuts, till well-combined.

   Drop cookies by heaping tsp., placed slightly apart, onto ungreased or possibly parchment-lined baking sheets.

   Bake till cookies are hard and lightly browned

   (35 to 40 min).

    Let cookies stand on baking sheets for about 5 min before removing them to wire racks to finish cooling.
