Biscuits From Herman

   Mix Herman with flour to which has been added soda, salt and oleo or oil.

   Add more flour if too thin, making a stiff dough. Lightly knead to form biscuits and drop in buttered pan.

   Allow to rise double in size.

   Brush with butter.

   Bake at 400u00b0 for a few minutes; reduce heat and bake about 25 minutes.

   This mixture can be made into bread instead of biscuits.
