Beulah's Beef Stew Recipe

   Use 5 qt Dutch oven.

   Trim and cut beef into 1 inch chunks.

   Coat in flour and brown in small pcs of fat trimmed from meat.

   Add in cut-up onion; brown 5 min longer.

   Add in warm water and salt.

   Cover pot and simmer 1 1/2 hrs.

   Add in cut-up vegetables to stew pot; carrots, celery, potatoes, string beans.

   Add in more water, if necessary, for extra gravy.

   Cook for 25 min longer or possibly till vegetables are done.Season with pepper.
