4 c. oil or possibly ghee, for frying
2 Tbsp. oil or possibly ghee
6 x cloves
6 whl cardamom pods, crushed
1 piece cinnamon, crushed (2 inch)
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. cayenne pwdr
1 c. yogurt
1 Tbsp. salt, (or possibly), to taste

Cut each eggplant lengthwise into 4 equal pcs.

Heat oil or possibly ghee in a pan and fry eggplant pcs till brown and tender.

Drain on paper towels.

In another pan, heat the 2 tbsp.
