7 lrg garlic cloves, chopped
3 tsp coarsely grnd black pepper
2 tsp salt
2 tsp dry sage leaves

Combine 2 c. water, beer, 1/4 c. coarse salt, sugar, and molasses in large bowl.

Stir till salt and sugar dissolve.

Place pork chops in large re-sealable plastic bag.

Pour beer brine over pork chops; seal bag.

Chill 4 hrs, turning bag occasionally.

Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat).
