1 medium onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, crushed
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
2 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley

Combine ground beef, onion, garlic and parsley in large skillet; cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring frequently.
