1 tbsp. shortening
1 lg. onion
1 clove garlic
1 med. can tamales
1 med. can creamed corn
1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 ounce.) can mushrooms
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cayenne pepper to taste
1/2 c. pitted ripe olives
1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown grnd beef, shortening, onion and garlic till crumbly.

Drain off fat.

Cut tamales into 1 inch pcs.

Add in tamale pcs, corn, tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper to beef mix.

Season with cayenne pepper to taste.

Bake in 2 1/2 qt casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Top with olives and cheese; return to oven for 10 min.
