Beef And Cheese Sopapilla

   Mix above ingredients together until dissolved:

   Beat in 1 egg and 1 Tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil.

   Gradually add 2 to 3 cups of flour. If dough is sticky, add more flour a little at a time. Knead. Let rest 20 minutes.

   While dough is rising:

   Brown together 1 lb. hamburger and 1/2 envelope taco seasoning mix.

   Divide dough into 6 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle, not too thin or it will break in the hot oil. Spread with hamburger mix and cheese.

   Fold dough over hamburger and seal well.

   Drop into hot oil; keep turning until light brown all over.

   Split at seam and add chopped lettuce, tomato, sour cream etc.
