   In a large pot over medium heat, brown hamburger or pork with onions and bell pepper until meat is browned. Drain grease if necessary. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until garlic is translucent. Add remaining ingredients and cook on very low heat for 1 hour, stirring to ensure they are not sticking to the bottom of the pot. Or put the mixture into a crockpot on low heat for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.

   Note: Would be good with ground sausage (hot or mild) instead of hamburger or pork.
