1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. mashed bananas (2)

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. In a larger bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Beat in bananas.

Turn batter into 2 greased and lightly floured 9-inch layer cake pans.

Bake at 350u00b0 for 25 minutes or until tester inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand in pans on wire rack for 5 minutes.
