Preheat oven to 450F.

Lightly grease sweet potatoes and bake till soft, about 40 min.

Let cold, then peel and mash well with butter, brown sugar, amaretto, marmalade and salt.

Grease a shallow 3-qt baking dish, spread potatoes proportionately in dish, then crumble the cookies over them.

Bake at 350 for 35-45 min.
