Award Winning Chili – a delicious recipe with ground beef, ground sausage, chili powder, onions, scotch, oregano. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground sausage
2 tbsp chili powder
2 onions
1 tbsp scotch bonnet sauce
1 tbsp oregano
1 1/2 tsp good paprika
1/2 green pepper
1/2 red pepper
4 garlic cloves
1 1/2 large cans diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cans dark red kidney beans
1/2 beer
1 tbsp short cumin

Brown the beef and sausage with the onions, garlic, and peppers. Add the spices. Then the tomatoes, kidney beans and beer. Let simmer for about 2 hours. Add a little water if it starts to get too thick.

Let cool and refrigerate. Heat up slowly the next day and enjoy.
