Ingredients: 12 tablespoons butter (169 grams); 1 12 cups granulated sugar (300 grams); 3 large eggs (150 grams); 34 cup buttermilk (184 grams); 2 cups all-purpose flour (240 grams); 2 tablespoons cocoa; 34 teaspoon nutmeg; 1 teaspoon cinnamon; 1 tablespoon salt; 1 teaspoon baking powder; 1 tablespoon baking soda; 1 teaspoon lemon extract; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; 1 cup walnuts, chopped (125 grams)

Pre-heat oven to 350F.

Cream butter and sugar.

Add eggs.

Mix dry ingredients together (setting walnuts aside).

Add buttermilk and dry mixture alternately to creamed butter/sugar/egg mixture.

Add vanilla and lemon extract.

Fold in walnuts.
