2 tablespoons water, divided
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup packed brown sugar

7 ½ teaspoons cornstarch
¼ cup butter, cubed

Place potatoes in a large saucepan or dutch oven; cover with water.

Bring to a boil; cover and cook for 30-45 minutes or until tender.

When cool enough to handle, peel and slice potatoes.

Place apples in a large saucepan and cover with water.

Cover and cook over medium heat for 7-8 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.

Place apples and potatoes in a greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

In a saucepan, combine concentrate, 1 1/2 cups, water, sugars and salt.

Combine cornstarch with remaining water until smooth; stir into concentrate mixture.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened.

Remove from heat; stir in butter until melted.
