2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup chopped apples
Topping:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp margarine

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan or cupcake pan with liners.

In bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt

In a large bowl, beat together margarine, sugar and eggs until smooth. Mix in vanilla. Stir in apples and gradually blend in the flour mixture. Spoon the mixture into the muffin pans.

In a small bowl mix brown sugar , flour and cinnamon. Cut in margarine until mixture is coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over top of batter in pan.

Bake for 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
