1 x Fuji apple, cored and thinly sliced

To prepare salad, place spinach and sliced apples in large bowl and chill till ready to dress.

To prepare dressing, cook bacon in small nonstick pan over medium-high heat till half-done, 2 to 3 min.

Add in onion and garlic and cook till onion is barely tender, about 1 minute.

In small bowl, whisk together mustard, vinegar, sugar, red chili flakes, pepper, salt and oil.

Stir into pan with bacon mix.

Immediately remove from heat and pour over spinach and apples.

Toss till salad is well coated with dressing.
