NOTES : It was fun to see Angel Chicken Pasta on the TSR board - I posted it at the allrecipes.com board and it has been pretty popular.

It's one of our favorite family recipes - I recommend it highly!

If you do double it, do not double the Italian dressing - makes it too salty.
-
15
Also, I usually add in a c. of chicken broth - it lessens the richness of the sauce - but it does make it more runny.

Anyway, enjoy...Marian

Note: Variation: I cut the chicken into strips and after dusting them with flour, I sauteed them in the 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil.
-
18
When they were brown I put them on a dish and made the sauce up, omitting the butter.
-
19
When the sauce was warm, I added the chicken and cooked it for 15 min longer.
-
20
For crockpot: Layer the chicken in the cooker, pour the warm sauce over and cook on high for 3-4 hrs or possibly low for 5-6 hrs.

May not need 2nd package of dressing mix if you double recipe.
