At medium speed, beat 5 minutes or until mixture is light and creamy. Add cookie mix; at low speed, beat until mixture forms a dough. Roll rounded teaspoonful of dough into a ball.

On a sheet of waxed paper, place sugar.

Roll dough ball in sugar to coat.

Place ball on prepared baking sheet; flatten slightly with palm of hand. Gently press an almond into center of dough.

Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies about 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets.
