Adrak Sharbat (Lime Ginger Ale) Recipe

   Make a paste of the ginger.

   Add in this paste and the peppercorns to 500 mL water.

   Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes.

   Strain.

   Set liquid aside and put solids back in the pan with more water.

   Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes.

   Strain.

   Throw away solids.

   Combine both liquids together with sugar and lime juice.

    Chill.

    To serve, dilute with an equal quantity of still or possibly sparkling water and serve over ice.
