   Combine tomatoes, garlic salt and sage in 3 quart pot.

   Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

   Stir in mashed potatoes and simmer an additional 5 minutes.

   In 2 batches, puree soup in blender.

   Stir in half and half.

   Cool soup, refrigerate, and serve chilled.
