1 c. chopped onion

1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground coriander
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
3 c. chicken broth
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. half and half

In a large saucepan, melt butter.

Add curry powder, salt, coriander, red pepper and mushrooms, if desired.
