Ingredients: 1 cup Onion, Chopped; 2 cloves Garlic, Minced; 1/4 cups White Wine; 4 Tablespoons Tomato Paste; 4 teaspoons Dried Oregano; 2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper; 1/2 teaspoons Pepper; 2 cans (28 Oz. Each) Crushed Tomatoes, Undrained; 1 teaspoon Sugar; 2 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar (optional)

1 cup Onion, Chopped
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
1/4 cups White Wine
4 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
4 teaspoons Dried Oregano
2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
1/2 teaspoons Pepper
2 cans (28 Oz. Each) Crushed Tomatoes, Undrained
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar (optional)

Saute onions in a small amount of oil until softened.

Add garlic and stir in wine.

Add tomato paste, oregano, red pepper, pepper, cans of tomatoes, and sugar.

Simmer for 20 minutes (I like to throw in a bay leaf sometimes!)

until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in vinegar (if using).

Allow sauce to cool.

This makes enough for 3 to 4 large pizzas.

Either put it on PWs pizza dough or portion this sauce out into about 3-4 small freezer baggies and stick it in the freezer to have on hand for a homemade pizza night!
