Sift flour, then measure. In a separate bowl, pour hot water over sugar, salt and butter and stir until the butter is melted. In a small dish, dissolve the yeast in the two tablespoons of lukewarm water and add to the butter mixture. Add 1 cup of flour, gradually beating until smooth. Add the egg and remaining flour to make a soft dough. Put in the refrigerator to rise for several hours or overnight. Take out and press down to release air. Shape into walnut size balls; place balls several inches apart on a cookie sheet and let rise until double in size (in a warm place). Brush with melted butter and bake in 350u00b0 oven for about 15 minutes.
