1
Preheat the oven for 375 degrees.
-
2
Cut up the fruit, add cornstarch and white sugar and toss it all together in the dish that you will be baking everything in.
-
3
It a separate bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, almonds, cinnamon, salt.
-
4
Melt the butter in the microwave and add it while still warm to the oats mixture.
-
5
With a fork, mix together until everything is coated by the butter. Crumble the oats mix on top of the fruit and make sure it is all spread evenly over the fruit.
-
6
I would put the baking dish on top of a cookie sheet when baking, just in case of any overflow. Bake about 50 -55 minutes.

Now I used white peaches because that was what we had in the fridge but feel free to use yellow, or any other variation of peaches. Also if you don't have a cherry pitter, don't worry about keeping the fruit whole. Just cut the cherries in half and remove the pits manually, which is what I did. You could easily substitute any of the fruits in this recipe for something else depending on what you have on hand. Just make it a summer fruit, such as any type of berry, plum, peach, nectarine, fig. Using frozen fruit isn't a problem; just let it thaw out before using.
