1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. shredded coconut
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Wheaties

Cream shortening and add sugar. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Add coconut. Sift flour once before measuring. Then sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together and add to first mixture. Add vanilla and the Wheaties. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350u00b0 for 10 minutes or so.
