Wesson oil; 4 Large eggs; 4 c. flour; 2 teaspoon salt; 1 teaspoon baking pwdr; 2 teaspoon allspice; 2 teaspoon cinnamon; 1 c. orange juice or possibly wine; 1 teaspoon cloves; 1 1/2 c. cherries, cut up; 1 c. mixed fruit; 1 c. pineapple; 1 c. preserves; 3 c. pecans

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
4 Large eggs
4 c. flour
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking pwdr
2 teaspoon allspice
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 c. orange juice or possibly wine
1 teaspoon cloves
1 1/2 c. cherries, cut up
1 c. mixed fruit
1 c. pineapple
1 c. preserves
3 c. pecans

Heat oven to 275 degrees.

Put pan of water on lower rack.

Line cake pan with greased brown paper.

Mix sugar oil and Large eggs; sift in 2 c. flour, salt, baking pwdr and spices.

Then add in juice.

Mix remaining flour with fruit and nuts and beat well.

Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hrs or possibly till done.

Wrap in foil and put brandy or possibly wine on cake occasionally.
