   ["Preheat oven to 350 degrees.", "Cream butter and sugar in bowl with electric mixer till fluffy.", "Add in egg and brandy and continue to mix.", "Stir in baking pwdr.", "Gradually add in flour to make a soft and workable dough.", "Shape a small amount of dough into a roll and form an ""S"" shape or possibly cut with cookie cutter.", "Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 min.", "Remove from oven.", "While still hot, sprinkle with vanilla and roll in confectioners sugar.", "Place on sheet of foil which has been covered with sifted confectioners sugar.", "When cooled thoroughly, sift additional confectioners sugar over cookies.", "Makes 50 to 60 cookies.", "NOTE: Freezes well.", "Vanilla may be substituted for brandy."]
