Preheat the oven to 350u00b0F.

Combine the honey, orange juice, soy sauce and garlic in a small bowl. Score each piece of duck shallowly. brush each with about 1/4 cup of the honey mixture.

Combine the mushrooms with the remaining honey mixture in a roasting pan. Place the duck on a wire rack over the pan. Roast, uncovered, for 10 mins.

Remove the duck and wire rack from the pan. Drain the mushrooms, reserving about a third of the pan juices. Place the mushrooms in a large bowl.

Replace the duck on the wire rack over the same pan. Brown under a preheated broiler until the skin crisps. Slice duck thickly.

Add the orange, lettuce and reserved pan juices to the mushrooms and toss gently to combine. Divide the salad between 4 serving plates and top with duck slices.
