Vanilla And Chocolate Custard Dessert

   In a bowl, blend the custard powder and sugar with 1/4 cup of the milk until the mixture is smooth. Meanwhile, bring the rest of the milk to a boil in a pan, then briskly stir in the custard mixture. Boil again, stirring, then lower the heat and simmer for about a minute until the custard is very thick.

   Measure out a third of the custard and mix with cocoa powder to create chocolate custard. Spoon a couple of tablespoons of the vanilla custard into a dessert glass, then a dollop of the chocolate custard. Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used up, then decorate the top with the chocolate shavings and serve.
