Preheat your oven to 375 F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Set aside.

Cook your spaghetti noodles per the package instructions for al dente.

Then drain it in a colander, drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil and toss to coat the noodles.

Set aside.

Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook until tender, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the ground turkey and a dash of salt and pepper.

Break up the ground turkey with a wooden spoon as it heats up.

Cook until cooked through, approximately 6-7 minutes.

While your turkey is cooking, prepare you tomato sauce.

In a large saucepan, add the canned tomato sauce, oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and chili powder.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir the ingredients to combine.

Heat over medium heat until the sauce is hot.

Once hot, gently pour the tomato sauce into the saute pan with the turkey.

Stir to combine, lower the heat to medium low and cook for 10-15 minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk together the Parmesan cheese, butter and egg.

Add the cooked spaghetti noodles into the mixture and toss to evenly coat.

Taking about half of the spaghetti mixture, place into your prepared baking dish.

Spread to evenly distribute.

Pour about half of the tomato sauce/turkey mixture on top of the spaghetti and top that with half of your slices of mozzarella.

Repeat these steps once more, finishing with the sliced mozzarella.

Cover the dish with a sheet of foil and bake for 40 minutes.

Remove the cover and cook for an additional 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and just starting to brown.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
