Place your pizza stone on the lowest rack of your oven.

Set the oven as high as it will go (mine will go to 550 F) and heat the stone in the oven for at least 30 minutes before cooking your pizza.

(If using a baking sheet instead of a stone, heat the oven, as directed, but dont add the baking sheet until you are ready to cook your pizza.)

Make the turkey: Preheat a large skillet, set over medium high heat, until warm.

Add enough olive oil to thinly coat the bottom of the pan.

When the oil is warm, season the ground meat (I used turkey, but you can use beef or pork) with salt and pepper.

Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat is no longer pink.

On a floured pizza peel or a large piece of parchment paper dusted with flour, roll out your pizza dough until it is round and about 1/2 thick.

For the Tex-Mex Pizza Sauce:
