Tip: Ground turkey breast is the leanest form of ground turkey (about 3 percent fat) and is white meat only with no skin. Regular ground turkey is made from white and dark meat with some skin and is about 10 percent fat. Frozen ground turkey is usually all dark meat with skin, and the fat content is similar to that of ground sirloin.
