1/2 cup quinoa uncooked
1 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion finely chopped
1 jalapeno medium, seeded and finely chopped

1 cup cooked quinoa
500 grams ground turkey

In a medium saucepan, combine the drained quinoa and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover and cook until all of the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.

In a heavy skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and jalapeno and saute until soft, about 5 minutes.

Add the cumin and cook 1 minute more. Transfer to a large bowl.

Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly. Form a meat loaf.

Transfer to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes at 200u00b0C, or until done.
