Truly Tender Ribs

   Wash ribs and cut according to your plan for use.

   (Slab for grill.

   Cut in smaller pieces for finger food.)

   Put ribs in roasting pan and pour root beer over.

   Add bay leaves and bake, covered, at 350u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.

   Pour off root beer and remove bay leaves.

   Add salt, pepper, basil, dill weed and garlic powder to taste. You can also add any of your favorite seasonings.

   Add barbecue sauce.

   Return to oven, uncovered, at 400u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
