1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 c. sifted flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Large eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 c. nuts, coarsely cut

Combine Crisco and salt, add in 1/2 c. brown sugar and cream thoroughly.

Add in 1 c. flour and blend.

Spread in 8x12 inch pan (greased and floured).

Bake 325 degrees for 15 min or possibly till lightly browned.

Add in remaining 1 c. brown sugar and vanilla to beaten Large eggs.

Beat till thick and foamy.
