   Preheat oven to 350u00b0.

   Grease a 15 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan; set aside.

   In large bowl of electric mixer, at high speed, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy.

   Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat until blended.

   At low speed, beat in flour.

   With spatula, spread mixture in prepared pan.

   Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
