1/2 cups Shortening
3/4 cups Sugar
3/4 cups Brown Sugar
2 whole Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1-3/4 cup Flour
3/4 cups Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1 pinch (per Cookie) Sea Salt

Place a large skillet on a burner set to medium high heat. Add coconut and stir frequently until golden brown and fragrant. Set aside on a separate plate to cool.

Remove from the oven to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then to a wire rack to cool completely.
