Using scissors, cut up the bacon in 1/4 in x 1 in slices ( just an estimate), fry up in a medium skillet on low heat until slightly brown.
2
In a large skillet cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is no longer pink.
3
In a casserole dish combine the beef, bacon, corn, 2 tablespoons of garlic and 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning until well mixed. Pour the stock over the top. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350u00b0F for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut up the potatoes in chunks ( leaving the skins on) and boil until tender, mash up with milk, butter, 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning, celery salt and 1 tablespoon of garlic. When well blended and the 30 minutes is up, spread over the meat (leaving uneven for presentation).
5
Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until the potatoes get golden.
