1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup minute oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
For Topping:
3/4 stick margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. milk
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Pour boiling water over minute oats and let stand for two minutes; mix lightly.

Cream sugars, margarine, eggs and vanilla - set aside.

In separate bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda; add to cream mixture.
