Just putting this out there first - this recipe is extremely simple, so I'm not putting up pictures.

Insert cuts along the sides of the chicken bone to let it cook through more easily.

You can see in the main picture that they've been cut open.

Add the chicken to a plastic bag together with all the ingredients and massage.

Then refrigerate and let marinade for several hours (about 3 hours is OK).

Warm up the grill.

Remove any moisture from the chicken with a paper towel and cook from the meat side on low heat.

Once the chicken has cooked increase the grill heat to high-ish and cook the skin side.

Once it has become crispy, it's complete.

In step 3 if you add some chili powder in together with the ingredients and massage, you'll get a spicy version.
