Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 15 x 12 pan (jelly roll pan).

In a large saucepan combine yogurt, banana, butter, water and cocoa powder. On medium heat mix ingredients until well combined and coming to a soft boil. Then remove from heat.

In a separate bowl combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Mix together. Add it into the cocoa mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla into the saucepan mixture. Stir until well combined.

Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes for 15 x 12 pan.

Meanwhile make frosting. Combine 1 cup yogurt, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 6 tablespoons milk, powdered sugar and vanilla using a mixer.

Pour over hot cake and sprinkle with nuts. Let cool at least 1 hour.
