In a saucepan, add the honey, water, lemon juice, soy sauce, and ginger. Bring to the boil and simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into a container large enough to hold the salmon.

Once the marinade has cooled, add the salmon making sure it is completely coated and refrigerate 1 whole day.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

Transfer the salmon skin-side up to the baking tray and bake 15 to 20 minutes. Do not discard the marinade.
