6 potatoes
6 slices bacon
1 small onion
4 c. milk
1 c. cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter

Fry bacon; break into pieces and add to pot.

Add rest. Cook, uncovered, very slowly for 40 minutes or until done. Sprinkle parsley on each bowl as garnish.
